Privacy on segno.events

Last updated 28 October 2026. This notice covers the website segno.events only.

Who is responsible

segno.events is published by Direct Currents Audiovisual (DC Audiovisual), SARL, 103 rue de la République, 92800 Puteaux, France, RCS Nanterre 941 175 614, which operates Segno. For any question about your data, write to privacy@segno.events.

What this site does not do

This site sets no cookie, runs no script and measures no audience. It loads no font, image or file from another company: everything comes from segno.events. There is no form and no account.

What the server records

Like any web server, ours writes one line to its log for each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the answer given and your browser’s identification string (user agent). It does not record cookies or the page you came from.

Why: to keep the site running and secure, for example to notice an attack or a fault. This is our legitimate interest (GDPR, Article 6(1)(f)).

How long: today the log is limited by size, not by date. The server keeps at most 100 MB of log lines for this site and the Segno application together and overwrites the oldest lines when that is full, so the number of days it covers depends on traffic. We are moving to a fixed limit of 30 days. The log is not copied into our backups.

Who sees it: DC Audiovisual, and our host Scaleway (Paris, France), which runs the server for us. The log stays in the European Union.

If you write to us

Our mail (privacy@segno.events and hello@segno.events) is hosted by mailbox.org in Germany. We use your message and your address to answer you and to follow up on what you asked, and keep them as long as that takes. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your rights

You may ask for access to the data we hold about you, its correction or erasure, the restriction of its processing, and object to it: write to privacy@segno.events. Log lines carry no name, so tell us your IP address and the time of your visit if you want us to look for them.

If you think your rights are not respected, you may complain to the CNIL (3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, cnil.fr) or to the authority of your country.

The Segno application

app.segno.events and the pages people open from a Segno message have their own privacy notice, published before any customer’s data enters the application.
